Steve,
That's one way to look at it. Another way is "what is George Karl and Vlade Divac going to do with 3 centers?".

The ideal answer is "Trade one to us."

Re: Kosta Koufos to Kings
Definitely an interesting situation to watch. It seems to me that, where a possible Celtics trade for a center is involved, the big question is whether the other team will take one or more of our guards in return. I'd be happy to trade Bradley and/or Thomas (plus picks) and hope to develop of our young guards or trade to replace those two. I guess I'd throw Turner in there too. Regardless of what we could offer in horseflesh, I believe there are other teams that would offer more.

Rondo may have a very good year indeed. Sure wish we'd picked up a center though instead.

We don't want a center unless he can shoot the 3 ball.

I, for one, would have welcomed DeAndre Jordan to the Celtics. Last time I checked the 3 ball was not a major part of his game.

Re: Kosta Koufos to Kings
I agree that a center for the Celtics should be able to shoot the three. As in three feet from the basket.

Bob - Free throws sure are part of his game. He just misses a lot of them.
