Between unpredictable injuries and unknown trades this is pretty ridiculous at this time, but oh well...these are NOT my predictions, btw.  Don't shoot the cut-and-paster...

Isn't it kind of early to make any prediction at this point?
But even if we take what we already know about EC teams, I'd argue against some the predictions.
BKN - with the way they're going - very unlikely to get the same number of wins as the last season.
Celts - the author failed to mentioned a very important factor that flooded the team last season and should be barely visible this season - continuity. I'd say they'll get 50 or more wins.
Mia - the author is way too optimistic about DWade; unlike his classmate (2003 draft) Lebron he's not able to carry his team anymore - they'd be in the mid-40 wins range.

Man, the epitome of what I like about the NBA.  Predictions.  Without a roster having been finalized.  Without a regular season game having been played.  Roughly 10 months ahead of time.

That's their right.  Just as it's my right to critique them for the tendency of many to write pap instead of actually working for a living.  If you or I always took the easy route in our jobs, we'd justifiably be dueling with each other for the best panhandling location.
