Celtics vs the winners
The Celtics have played 49 games. They are 20-7 vs teams playing .500 ball or lower and 7-15 vs teams playing over .500 ball. That's a long, long way from championship caliber ball. Not really comforting to realize that they are now, either the best of the worse or the worse of the best. Its going to be a real challenge for Danny to move this club to the head of the pack but fortunately he has the chips to lead me to believe that he can make the Celtics an elite team in the near future.

Our home record is 14-10
Our away record is 13-12
Championship caliber teams defend their home court much better than we do, IMO.
Take a look:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/standings/
Golden State is 22-0
San Antonio is 26-0
Cleveland is 19-5
Oklahoma City is 23-5
Toronto is 18-6
There are 9 more teams with single digit loses at home at this time.
We are getting better, but we ain't there yet.

I think you meant same list, only add the Clippers. Toronto made my list.
That makes 14 teams better than us at home, with only 6 teams being better than us on the road, at this time.

GYSO
Well my eyesight is failing

Just sort of seems when we win 5 in a row all is fuzzy and soft and roses,
We loose one game and too many appear to be moving close to the ledge.
We are in great shape, we make 2 of those other treys and we win that game.....we are heading in the right direction, think it's rather short sighted to pin this lose on the coach. Were we in the team huddle? Who knows what Stevens said to them.
To be honest I expected this loss based on playing them back to back. Just didn't expect to blow a nice 13 point lead in doing so.
Oh well rant is over
