Rondo is a round Connect-Four piece and Brad has set the team up with a square pace and space game. It was a nice round piece in its day, but it no longer fits.

The world has moved on.

We have too many young active hungry players at his position, the heart of our team is AB, Smart and Crowder defending and creating havoc. Rondo while he is still an amazing passer, does not defend in your face like these young guys.

I could not take him back in Boston after the way he played just before he left no matter what he may be doing well at this time.

He shows that he is a very up and down player and would definitely not be worth the big bucks for me to bring him back to the Cs. I would much rather have Smart as our point guard for all the good things he does every night-hustle, intensity, toughness, positive leadership, etc even though he may not yet be the classical "point" guard.
