KJ I figured either Karl or Cousins would have to go.
I suppose the Kings would prefer to pamper the thumb sucker

Re: George Karl to be dsmissed by Kings
Now that Sacramento has fired Karl, They need to completely start over. Cousins needs to be traded, and the team needs to go young around the couple of young guys they have who played well this season.
Bringing Cousins and Rondo back will present some huge potential problems for whomever becomes their new head coach. Neither of these two guys are going to be good leaders for a young, rebuilding type of team.
Rondo has proven to be too selfish and Cousins time to lead that franchise has now come and gone. Not his fault that the team and their fan base needed him to lead them from obscurity before he even put on their uniform, but after six years, his time has run out in Sacramento. Both of these guys are very good players in the right situation, and may flourish in environments where there are long standing coaches with long standing successes, however.

Latest rumor-du-jour is that they are considering ex-Clipper coach Vinny del Negro.
Other coaches that are available include Thibs, McHale, Mike D'Antoni, David Blatt.
Why they would consider taking over that carney act is another question.

Nice weather. And several million bucks a year at least.

WC,
If the decision was either Karl or Cousins, there is no need now to get rid of the latter. If they wanted to get rid of Cousins, they could have kept Karl.
As far as Rondo, he is a free agent (I think). Maybe they resign him, maybe they don't make an offer. Time will tell.

Cousins loves Rondo, the kings love Cousins so the Kings love Rondo too.
Rondo had a very good year for someone that refused to play one minute of defense.
