This was truly an amazing performance.

The best ever for a player in his last game!

Say what you want about Kobe ...love him or hate him but there is no doubt that he is one of the best ever to play this game.

What an incredible performance by Kobe last night.
He put on a show in front of so many celebrities, current and retired athletes and millions of NBA fans on TV throughout the world.
For a Lakers fan, it was the perfect way to conclude a great career.
Kobe played the whole second half until taken out with less than a minute to go.
He gave everything he had in his last game.
I know his body and game are losing the aging battle, but he still can show flashes of easily being the best player on court.
It was great to read all of the twitter comments from current players about how Kobe finished his last game.
Last night the Lakers put on an awesome tribute for an all-time great player.
My son is 21 and has grown up being a huge Lakers and Kobe fan.
He will be sad that Kobe is gone.
When I went to bed at 1:30 in the morning my son thanked me for watching it with him.
I wouldn't have missed that game for anything.
This was a performance that we will never forget.

I made it a point, as I always do, to watch the final game of the greats no matter which team they play for. I am totally mesmerized by the skill level and passion that drives these super stars. Another great memory for me to add to my lengthy list of the great ones final hurrah.

Great night for basketball last night!

- The Celtics (second half) over the Heat.

- Golden State with their record 73rd.

- Kobe Bryant with one of the greatest curtain calls the game has seen.

My thumb got a real work out hitting the 'prev' button, switching between the Golden State and LA games.

TJ; I'm happy for you that you got to watch the game with your son.  A great memory to add to a tradition and bond between father and son.

I too was flipping between the two late games, and really enjoyed watching the way Kobe went out he was fantastic.

Bob,

I don't know about you, but for me the down side of those great late games was getting up this morning.

Of course the dog is still up and ready at 5am. Early meeting and coffee; trying not to let the eyes close!

Regards

In my opinion, the best thing about Bryant's last game is that he is now and ex-NBA player.

He has had a great (nice?) career, but I never liked him and am glad that he has retired.

Yup, I agree.
