Article:Celts hold the key to the draft

Kind of a "captain obvious" article from the Providence paper. Perhaps they just needed to print something about the draft?

I think the casual fan needed to be reminded that the pick holds more value before the draft, rather than during it, due to Ingram possibly not being the Lakers pick at #2. Okafor and Winslow falling last year was proof of that. 

While we rightfully hold ourselves in high regard on this forum as far as basketball minds go, it bears remembering that like 95% of the public reading that article will be educated or informed in some way. Not every article out there has to involve cutting edge speculative rumors. The basic facts in the local sports page 2-3 days before the draft are required to be printed to the masses/casual fans. Nobody liked to be talked down to or confused. Sports isn't life or death to most people.
