MY NOTE:  LBJ was never going to leave Cleveland.  DeRozan was never coming to Boston (and maybe that's a good thing).  That means that, other than those two, we got the #2 free agent available.  Not bad.

Jordan Hill, David Lee and Amare are ranked lower than Seth Curry?  Ouch.

Sully ranked #32, but lower ranked Mozgov and Mahinmi got offers and he's still waiting.  Message delivered.  Received?

Maybe LeBron will take the vet minimum and join the Warriors too? They could win 5 rings in a row with that lineup; course I doubt they would get much satisfaction from winning.....

Mozgov and Mahinmi were both Unrestricted Free agents.

Sully is restricted last I checked.

no RFA's have singed except with their own teams, so far.

Did I read that GS renounced Barnes rights so he is an UFA now?

Barnes to Dallas. Bogut being traded to Dallas for a 2nd round pick to free $ for Durant.

Zaza to sign with GSW, so now they have a center.

They renounced the cap hold they had on him and allowed him to sign with Dallas. It didn't make him an UFA b/c he had already agreed to sign the Mavs offer sheet. It just meant that GS informed the league earlier than they had to that they declined to match the offer sheet in order to free up the $ for Durant, so Barnes officially became a Mav.

Barnes and Bogut are a couple of good defenders with championship rings that should be upgrades to Parsons and Pachulia. If Dirk hasn't lost a step and Deron continues to work himself back to something of an above average PG again then the Mavs could get the 4 or 5 seed now that OKC is going to take a fall.

The privilege of being destroyed by GS is round 2 probably isn't better than a complete rebuild. But Cuban has to make it appear he is building a winner around Dirk until he retires so Dallas will be in NBA purgatory for 2-3 more seasons.
