dboss,
This survey is BS. They have Derrick Rose's Knicks coming 9th in the East with only 40 wins. Don't these idiots know the Knicks are going to win them all?

Re: Celts ranked # 2 in the East
I like this line:
But though accomplished, Horford has been a part of only two 50-win teams in his nine-year NBA career.
Shoot, Paul Pierce was on ZERO 50 win teams in his nine seasons before KG and Allen were traded for. I guess Pierce wasn't really a difference maker and star at age 29-30 in 2007 b/c of circumstances out of his control, like you know, he wasn't doing the drafting, signing and trading for his teammates
If THAT is what they are using to nit-pick Horford than there must be VERY little negative to say about the guy. We all know he's a borderline all-star better suited as the 2nd/3rd star on a contender. Pierce was better than that. It isn't Al's fault he didn't carry teams on his back to 50+ wins year after year. We all know that is not the player we are getting. He isn't Karl Malone but we are all ok with that. His addition and Sully's subtraction are worth more than 3 wins by themselves.

51 wins at this point would be disappointing. The improvement we expect to see goes beyond the addition of players.
Another year in Brad's system should yield a collective improvement. I expect to see a push towards 60 wins this year.
