Viewing a missed shot as a turnover
Percentage of shots taken, including free throws, per game that were misses - Current year
Thomas,,,, shots taken - 27,9
,,,,,,,,,,,,,, shots missed - 11.3 for a percentage of 40.5
Bradley,,,, Shots taken - 16.4
,,,,,,,,,,,,,, shots missed - 7.8 for a percentage of 47.6
Rozier,,,,,, Shots taken - 6.8
,,,,,,,,,,,,,, shots missed - 3.4 for a percentage of 50.0
Smart,,,,, Shots taken - 12.2
,,,,,,,,,,,,, shots missed - 7.5 for a percentage of 61.5
The bottom line: 61.5% of Smarts shots resulted in turnovers - and only 40.5% for Thomas.
Note: There would be a minor adjustment to the above figures to account for those missed free throws that were the first shot of a two shot foul or when possession was retained via an offensive rebound - therefore not a turnover.
