NBA.com mistake
There was a trivia question during the Milwaukee game asking if fans knew who the Finals MVP was in '74 when the Celtics beat the Bucks (it was Havlicek). I decided to look over the whole list of Finals MVP's and here is the link. Note that NBA.com actually has the Celtics beating the KNICKS in the Finals that year 4-3, not the Bucks (wonder how two Eastern teams could meet in the Finals?). Celtics beat the Knicks 4-1 in the EASTERN Finals but it's a pretty sloppy mistake by whoever put this page together:

By the way, when Dennis Johnson was voted Finals MVP in 1979 he only averaged 9 points a game (plus 6 rebounds and 6 assists). Nice that someone noticed his overall effect on his team's success, defense included.
