MVP of Sam's Celtics Forum

At the end of each of the last two seasons when we were on Boston.com, I made it a practice to recognize my personal pick for Sam's MVP (Most Valuable Poster). Previous winners were Hooter Rooter and BeatLA.

I'd like to continue the tradition by presenting this year's Most Valuable Poster Award to gyso. He's so unassuming that he doesn't even want his name capitalized. But, from the moment this idea started becoming a reality, gyso has been an unbelievable force on behalf of this forum. Most people know how he is an administrator who is the backbone of the Game On Thread and the game contests and how he works assiduously to keep making that thread ever-more innovative and appealing. But the great majority of members don't realize how much behind-the-scenes work he has done on the technical aspects of the forum, the charitable drives, and many other little-recognized efforts in addition to being a fine poster.

Gyso (I snuck in a capital there), my personal appreciation for all you do for the forum, while balancing your home life and work load, is just boundless. Thank you so very much, and please tell your wife she's definitely included in this sentiment for putting up with so much on our behalf. I look forward to the next time we're together so I can perhaps fulfill that dinner promise that was snowed out.
