IT in the 4th quarter
Watching IT in the 4th quarter the past few games and especially the most recent win over the Hornets it almost appears he is the only one even LOOKING too shoot and this bothers me a bit. I re-watched the 4th quarter a bit ago and saw at least a dozen times where we passed up good looks to keep the ball moving and eventually it went to IT. Sure he did come thru and make the shot more times than not but relying on him to this degree isn't good IMHO.
We have some pretty good shooters and unless they fire when open someone is gonna figure it out pretty soon to stay on IT regardless of who else is on the court.
Stevens does spread the court with shooters (including Smart and I know Bob H is wincing right now) so it's difficult to cover all of them without leaving someone open or having someone beat their man off the dribble.
I have a hard time believing that having IT continue to do this will bear fruit in the playoffs.
But it is fun to watch.

beat,
I agree, 100%. He is amazing. Unreal. But shut him down with a bigger, more physical player or a double-team and we have 4 other players standing around cold.

Beat,
My sentiment exactly. I hope AB comes to his normal shooting form quick enough.
But overall, Brad does have to have plan B if/when IT is shut down.

Re: IT in the 4th quarter
Until they stop him he will keep shooting.
You do recall the recent game where he did not have a shot and swung the ball over to KO who penetrated just enough to drawn in the defense and then the ball went out to AH in the corner for a swish!!!
The key with IT being our go-to-guy begins and ends with decision making. I am not concerned about what happens come playoff time because I think that the Celtics will anticipate that team will double up on IT to take the ball out of his hands.
I think that us Celtics fans are still trying to wrap our heads around the concept that a 5' 9" guy is this good. He is capable of putting up the same type of numbers that the best NBA scorers can put up.
