Pelicans excited announcer just prior to tonight's game: "The Boogie and The Brow era has begun!!!"

Then the Pelicans go and lose at home to the Rockets 129-99.

Other than Cousins and Anthony Davis, the other three starters (Jrue Holiday, Solomon Hill and E'Twaun Moore) scored a COMBINED 15 points on 6 for 22 shooting.

Yup, quite and auspicious start to their era.

Multiple times in the first half the announcer commented on what a "playoff atmosphere" there was in the arena.  Not so much after halftime when they were down 66-50 and 100-67 after three.  At home no less.

Yikes.
