Jordan Crawford To Sign 10-Day Contract With Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans plan on signing Jordan Crawford to a 10-day contract.


The Pelicans have had depth issues on the wing.

Crawford has averaged 23.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 29.8 minutes per game this season with the Grand Rapids Drive of the D-League.

MY NOTE: Congrats. He always drove me a bit crazy but he also surprised me at how good a point guard he was. I always thought of him as "just a shooter", but leave it to Brad to bring out the best in players. We sure coulda used his offense vs Suns...

In his first game with the Pelicans tonight he scored 19 points in 20 minutes.  Quite a debut.

Jordan Crawford Signs Two-Year Deal With Pelicans

Jordan Crawford has agreed upon a two-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Crawford's first 10-day contract with the Pelicans expired on Thursday.


Crawford will receive a guaranteed salary for the remainder of this season and a guarantee date for 17-18.

Crawford has averaged 14.2 points and 3.2 assists in five games with New Orleans.
