Forsberg referenced Larry Legend's infamous left-handed game on the road against Portland in 86. For the young'uns and those who might have forgotten, the feat is well chronicled here:

Briefly, Larry had a monster game against Portland where he intentionally played much of it left handed. It got me thinking about how this accomplishment would be viewed today? In this 24/7 world with all the bloggers desperate to create a voice, and the established media personalities whose whole "brand" (God I hate that word) depends on loud mouthed confrontation, I am guessing it would be criticized as selfish and immature. Kind of bums me out, but at the same time I'm happy to have witnessed this more innocent age.
