Post Game Thread - vs New York Knicks, Away

A 16 point victory that was really a 26 point victory with a minus 10 point garbage time.  No Carmelo, no Derrick Rose (who needs surgery on his already surgically-repaired left knee).  Who cares?  It's still our 50th win and gives us a 1 game lead on Cleveland.

No Celtic starter played in the 4th quarter.  

Pretty much everybody had a good game.  Nobody looked like shit, although Jonas got blocked 2x by O'Quinn.

Stevens said Crowder's elbow swelled up immediately. Everything has come back negative, but coach unsure of exact injury.

He says this in his 4th year as Celtics head coach and as the Knicks are going for their 4th straight year without making the playoffs in a league where >50% of the league makes the playoffs. You suck, Phil. You inherited MJ, you waited until after the Lakers closed the trade for Shaq before you signed on with them. Now the curtain has been pulled back and everybody can see you're a fraud as a GM.


Next game is Wednesday vs Cleveland in Boston.  I don't know if the rest and practice is good or if it's better to get the reps, but it is what it is.  BIG game.  A statement game.

I fell asleep during 4th quarter of game, was like a scrimmage against the JV team was soo boring.
