Smart kid. He'll be the primary point, with a nice new class of top recruits and a couple of second-year players ready to go. The rash of minor injuries he had should be in the past, and, if he can shake whatever-the-heck the issue was, he should keep his feet under himself. His scoring should increase too. He'll probably end up a much higher draft pick in 2018 as a result.

The question isn't whether he can keep his feet under himself but whether opposing players around him can keep their feet under themselves...

That is the type of immaturity that pro coaches do not like. Play hard, cheat a little (e.g. flop, grab a little jersey if you think the ref isn't watching) but don't lose your cool and do something blatant and unprofessional.

It's totally out of character for Allen.  Yet it happened not once, but twice.  There was certainly some mental issue to be resolved, and I say that in neither a joking nor amateur psychologist manner of any kind.  Especially given his own near hysterical reaction afterward.

A return for his senior year, and a clean season, should leave him a clean enough slate for the NBA.  Even if he declared this year, he was headed for a late first-round pick.  That should only improve.
