What a break' for the Celtics. RR has played very well for the bulls. He is still an elite level ball handler and passer.

There is a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel.

Winning 4 of 5 begins with winning game 3.

Gee, isn't that too bad. All his showboating at the end of game came back and bit him in the ass. He ran by the Celtic bench in the fourth quarter mouthing off. Typical Rondo.

Jokes aside, if Celtics don't capitalize on this it's going to be failure of epic proportions.

The Celtics’ task just got a lot easier.

The Chicago Bulls announced on their website that guard Rajon Rondo suffered a broken thumb in Game 2 and will be out indefinitely. Surgery is not required.

What this means for the Celtics is huge. With Rondo turning back the clock to his Celtics days, the C’s had no answer for the creative point guard, who torched the smaller Isaiah Thomas in Games 1 and 2.

He was at his best in Game 2, falling one rebound shy of a triple-double and controlling the action at both ends of the floor with 11 points, nine rebounds, 14 assists, and five steals.

When Rondo was hurt late in the season, Jerian Grant stepped in as his replacement, with Michael Carter-Williams the backup. The two have combined for just 31 minutes (4 for Williams) and eight points through two games.

With the Celtics trailing 2-0, the Rondo news gives them a clear path to winning two straight games in Chicago and returning to Boston with the series tied. Unlike the last two postseasons, the C’s are playing at full health.

this is where they show us what they are made of. If they do not win now, they do not deserve to win at all. Actually, it is a terrible way to back in. But, after what has taken place with Thomas, I will take it. They should have won one in Boston, it would have made me feel alot better about them.

Tonight is it~ win or go home with a terrible taste in your mouth for the summer, because they will only need one more.
