Hi,
I guess it's a good PR.
On the subject of ref's mistakes. They do review 3 pt vs 2pt. Why don't they review goaltending when the ball hits the board? Like it happened during the game 4. Just wondering.

Not sure if that is a review-able call even in the last 2 minutes.
The refs should have at least got together briefly to check with each other, just because it may be one refs call to make does not mean he had the best angle of view of the play.

Sinus check this out

Goaltending/Basket Interference Review
Since the 2012-13 season, referees have reviewed situations in which they are not reasonably certain whether a goaltending or basket interference violation was called correctly during the last two minutes of the fourth period and during all of overtime.

Beat,
Thanks for the info.
I know that. My question is this. The refs review, if there's doubt, 3 pt shot during all 48 min (not just the last 2 min), usually during the first available intermission. Why don't they do the same with the goaltending?
The "bottomline" for both is the same: add or subtract a point. For goaltending it's even more important - 2 points difference.

Re: NBA says Lebron's go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:08 to go shouldn't have counted
I saw two serious mistakes by refs last night and both favored Houston in their close win over OKC last night. With 1:08 left in the first half OKC was called for an eight second violation. The clock on my cell phone (and I'm sure everyone's) measures time in hundredths of seconds. I timed it from the split second Westbrook touched the ball being passed to him from out of bounds and he got it across the mid-court line in 4.9 seconds. And they still called him for an eight second violation. It got no argument from Thunder coach Billy Donovan however which shocked me. Wasn't even close to an eight second violation.
With 2:40 left in the third quarter Harden scored, got fouled and made the free throw for a three point play. They showed the replay on slow motion - clearly showing he took three long steps on his way to the basket well after his last dribble - but neither announcer pointed it out. It couldn't have been more obvious. Reggie Miller and the play by play guy said nothing, just raved about Harden's ability to drive to the hoop. It's easy when you're allowed to travel. And he does it A LOT without it being called.
