The whole team is beat up. Looking forward to a real physical game 5.

Green can have Jaylen's minutes. Amir will not be mussed because he barely gets to play now.

Crowder had a groin splitting slip on a sweat puddle.  I screamed a bit myself when I saw him do it because I know how how much that hurts.  I wouldn't be surprised if he misses the game entirely.

I guess we'll get to see lots of Zeller, Green and Mickey for the last few games of this season.

The slippery floor event. got it. But about all those drives where he ends up out of bounds lying on the floor and then it takes him 5 seconds at least to get up.

I think he has been playing hurt for a while, they just are not saying it. Last night he pointed the wet spot to the ref, who did absolutely nothing. What a piece of garbage. Too bad he wasn't the one who went down. Listen, it is the end of the year, very physical series two and one, so I am not surprised at all if more than one are hurt. As far as Crowder, if he can walk, he will play. I don't know about Brown, he is young, maybe 24 hour treatment or more will help him. Another one, if he can walk, he will play. They will not play either if it will jeopardize their health. Oh well, this one could get ugly.

Last night during the game, they clearly showed what happened to Crowder during a stoppage in play on a split screen.  Smart (I believe) fell down, leaving the wet spot on the floor.  There was no time to wipe it up because play continued.  When Crowder ran back up the floor, he hit the same spot and did a split.

The resulting injury was to his groin, which does not surprise me at all, seeing Crowder walk gingerly around right after.

Cause and effect.  Simple.

BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics could need to play Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals without the assistance of rookie Jaylen Brown.

The team announced Wednesday evening that Brown is questionable due to a right hip pointer. It's not clear exactly when the wing picked up the injury; he did not reveal any issue while meeting with the media after Boston's 112-99 Game 4 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

Amir Johnson (shoulder) and Jae Crowder (groin) are each considered probable for the Celtics' first elimination game of the Eastern Conference Finals. They built a 16-point lead early in Game 4, but fell victim to a waterfall of buckets from Kyrie Irving and LeBron James. 

Johnson sprained his right shoulder during a Game 3 collision. Crowder strained his groin during a second-half fall in Game 4.

The Celtics trail 3-1 on the series and will play the rest of the postseason without injured star Isaiah Thomas. He has already met with at least one hip specialist, but plans to meet with several before deciding whether to undergo surgery for the right hip issue.

I bet all three are available for the game.

its a game 7 for us tonight. Unless the injury could become career ending you play. Plenty of time to heal in the off-season.

We just need 5 guys to suit up. This team has been tough as nails all season and I expect them to play their hearts out and fight through everything.

I sincerely apologize without qualification to wolverines everywhere.  It was a thoughtless and unnecessarily stereotypical comment for me to make and I am sorry for any pain I may have caused to wolverines and their families world-wide.  Furthermore, I recognize that addiction to meth-amphetamines is a serious societal issue and had no intention of demeaning wolverines trapped in that addiction.  I will donate all my Celtic playoff winnings to the International Fund for Animal Welfare so they can encourage and assist wolverines with drug abuse issues to live a healthy lifestyle and productive return to animal societies globally.  I will endeavor in the future to increase my consumption of plants and grains and to remain positive towards all animal life.  Except when I'm eating them, then they're going down.

Jaylen Brown (and the other walking wounded) WILL play tonight unless the trainer does not allow them to play.

This team's mental and physical toughness has been great factors in us all believing in them as an overachieving group of players that we love.

so, did you see the statement from Danny Ainge that Lonzo Ball will refuse to workout for the Celtics? What has happened to this league? Who is running the asylum now??
Simmons did this last year, now, this kid, who has won nothing and has a big mouth father, is pulling the same thing. Not that I think Danny wants him, but this is wrong.
Where are they heading for in this league, a bunch of 19 year olds laying down new rules???

   As a life long buckeye fan.  I'd rather be addicted to meth  than root for any team from michigan.

I hope Ball falls out of top 5 or even better LAL selects another player.

My point was not that we wanted him but the way these kids are approaching pro basketball at 19. Makes them think they are bigger than the game
