He really had a great year. The sore achilles slowed him down when he was putting up 18 per game. He stil finished the season with well.

Every year he works his tail off and comes back with something. I think he will be a 20 PPG scorer as he improves finishing at the rim and getting to the foul line.

I am really wondering if the Celtics will give Avery in one of these reported trades. I know Danny loves the kid so I wonder if Smart is the expendable one.

Avery is a hard tough ballplayer. If he could stay healthy for one full season, I think more people would be more in his corner and reluctant to give him up. These kinds of players are hard to come by today

Those nickle and dime Injuries add up over time but he came back and was a big contributor in the playoffs and it could be used as a negotiating tactic to resign him for less than a max deal. Everybody assumes that he is getting a max contract but I disagree. I do not even think IT gets the max contract.

If the Celtics had a SG other than AB on the roster it would make sense to move him. Of course Jaylen may develop into a SG but I am pretty certain that it will take a few years more to really learn that position and develop into a knock down jump shooter. There is no given when it comes to shooting.
