Marcus is pretty good source for infok_j_88 wrote:I'm not sure if the Jae vs BronBron story is real but it's clear this organization has some serious issues and Lebron certainly has a lot to do with that.

Doubt it’s fake but it might be more verbal than physical

He should be glad he is out of that cancerous enviornment and get a fresh start. Maybe he stays, maybe he doesn't but he calls his own shot now because he is a free agent at the end of the season

Saw that as well. It was bad optics. Unfortunately IT turned into a pain in the ass. His public statements did not make him seem like a team player. He criticized the Cavs defense and said Boston played harder. That was true but you do not say that to your new team. He was in the middle of the recent Kevin Love controversy. And he publicly criticized the competency of his coaching staff. He did all this while playing like crap. Neither IT nor Crowder wanted to be traded, especially to Cleveland. Now they really need to move on and make the best of a bad situation.

Re: Thomas to Lakers
It is kind of sad, at least in respect to IT. He had the world by it's tail (very lady like, you know what you guys would have said)
To expect so much and have it all fall flat is really hard on the psyche of a player like IT. He loved Boston, we loved him right back......but, Kyrie is a super special talent. If Danny does not make the trade and fans find out about it, they would have eaten him alive. He did the right thing for the franchise.
Life is very cruel sometimes...........time to move on and make the most of it IT>

Re: Thomas to Lakers
Lakers and Cavs are strange bedfellows.
LA has cleared out a lot of salary and that mission will be completed when Lopez, Pope, Brewer, Frye and maybe IT come off the books. I would also expect them to use the stretch provision on Deng. They would also probably have to let Randle walk. LA can thank the Cavs for helping this along but it was sort of like arming your enemy before going to war with them.
I expect George to want $30 million and James has a $35 million option on the table.
With all that the Cavs have done to appease King James, would he dare take his talents to LA after this season? Probably yes because the Cavs have not done enough to win this year or next. They probably lose this year and that will be reason enough for James to pack up. Cleveland has added even more salary to the mix with this latest round of moves and since King James will not waive his no trade contract the only trading asset remaining is Kevin Love and that glorious Nets first rounder.
