Celtics applying to the league for Hardship Exception
I have no idea who is out there, but when you look down the bench and all you see is Rozier, Larkin and Allen, it is a little scary. I hope they get what they want. Who is floating around out there??

Stevens said if Cs added anybody with a hardship exception it’d likely be to add perimeter depth.

Jordan Crawford
aka "Mister Herky-Jerky".
He used to trigger cardiac palpitations with my pacemaker, and I don't even have a pacemaker, but I'd be willing to take my chances with him. He would definitely fix both our ball-handling needs (as much as Rozier does) and our outside shooting needs, although he is not as good a 3pt shooter as Nader. He is, however, an experienced NBA ball-handler and Nader isn't.
Crawford also knows Brad's ways.

Celtics Blog reporting that the Celtics are signing Sean Kirkpatrick to a 10 day contract. From what I read he is a
guard, has been around, latest being two ten day contracts
with Clippers.
I know nothing about him..........Bob?????

Boston Celtics reportedly signing guard Sean Kilpatrick to 10-day deal
By: Jared Weiss | 1 hour ago
The Boston Celtics will sign guard Sean Kilpatrick to a 10-day contract once they receive the hardship exception, reports Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald.
With Kyrie Irving set to miss some time due to a minimally invasive knee procedure, the Celtics will now qualify for a hardship exemption. The Celtics can open up an extra roster spot until Irving returns and they will use that spot to sign guard Sean Kilpatrick to a 10-day contract per Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald.

Celtics expected to sign Sean Kilpatrick to 10-day contract later today. Combo guard most recently played through two 10-days with Clippers.

Kilpatrick averaged 13.1 points per game on 41.5% shooting last season as a starter for the Brooklyn Nets, but struggled this year as he bounced from Brooklyn to Milwaukee and then the LA Clippers. Kilpatrick scored 15 points on 5-for-10 shooting (3-for- from deep) on Tuesday, but was not kept for the season when his second 10-day deal expired this week.
The 28-year-old out of Cincinnati is averaging 4.4 points on 33.9% shooting in 9.9 minutes per game this season. He’s played 43 games between the Nets, Bucks and Clippers.
Kilpatrick was waived by the Nets early in the season and signed with the Bucks in December on a two-way deal. The Bucks had to release Kilpatrick to make room for the Shabazz Muhammad signing at the beginning of March.
Kilpatrick then signed with the Clippers for a pair of 10-day deals. Doc Rivers said they brought him in to fill a similar role the Celtics need: guards who can attack.
“We just need downhill guards that attack,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said in early March per the LA Times. “We went through the whole list, and we think that’s what Sean does well. He kind of matches our DNA a little bit in what we’ve had this year, guys who are tough, who have an edge. Those are the types of players we’re looking for.
“And we really wanted a guy with some kind of NBA experience. We’re trying to make the playoffs here. This is not like a team that signs a 10-day guy just to fill a roster spot. Our 10-day guys can possibly start tonight or the next game.”

Re: Celtics applying to the league for Hardship Exception
Guess I got the name wrong! Kirkpatrick, Kilpatrick, whatever.
He is joining the team. What does this do? I still think Larkin is a very valuable player, hope this does not cut into his team.
Larkin's feisty play helped push the Celtics back into that game last night. He is the last guy who should be losing playing time.
So much for Allen, looks like there is not alot of faith there for Brad to play him.

Another shooter would be nice. Hate to say it but Nader and Semi are too inconsistent.
