My expectations ARe that we Lose one in Boston. Embiid and Ismmons will get frustrated at some of the defensive looks that Stevens throws at them. Similar to the heat’s strategy, but with better players.

I expect this to be a 6 game series only because Stevens coaching ability.

I think we're gonna spank the Celtics in 5, maybe even sweep. They just won't have the firepower to keep up with us

This is going to be a good series but I just don't see the C's winning more than 2 games with their current rotation. Fully confident going in...

I would love if we will be able to sweep them so that we can say that their great Brad Stevens was not able to squeek atleast 1 game to a supposedly inferior coach.

This should be a 4 game sweep. Maybe Boston gets one at home.... Maybe.

THey will be clutching and grabbing and hand checking and everything else they can get away with. From what I've seen so far this playoffs the refs refuse to call fouls on guys mugging the ball handlers. If that remains true, this will go a couple extra games unfortunately. If they call it tight, it should be 4 or 5 games.

Baynes and Horford wont be able to challenge Biid vertically. Biid used to have a tough time on Theis.

If Jaylen Brown is injured, this should be a clean sweep by double digits every game.

This is Stevens one shot to beat the sixers. By next year Simmons and Joel will be more developed, James will be here, etc. So if he can't beat us this year, they should really replace him, since he'll have missed his best shot lol

Without Brown game one should be a damn blowout. I wanted Milwaukee because I think the Sixers would have swept them EZ. But now that its Boston.....mmmmmm. The Bill Simmons tears are going to be mighty tasty.

I don’t know how Fultz will fare in a hostile environment in Boston. I say play him. If he can play well with fans jeering him he will show me a little something.

It took them 7 games to beat a 7th seed bucks team that plays horrible basketball. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Sixers sweep them. If browns out tonight it will be a double digit win.  (MY NOTE:  He's right, it was a double-digit win.  Heheh)

Smart is trash against everybody except us

76ers in 6. I'm concerned about rust in game 1. Turnovers against more persistent defense (Smart) and the possibility of a couple hot shooting games from the 3 point line from Tatum and Horford.

Going to have to win by 10-15 points. If it comes down to a close game the Celtics will get all the calls.   This is their home court advantage.

The Sixers will definitely get a few BS calls against them from Marcus Smart flopping.

Brown is out, hopefully we can steal this game.

The Celtics should not be underestimated but when about half your cap space is hurt there’s only so much that can be done. They have a good system and were the 2nd seed, but still only barely got by the very poorly coached Bucks.

The Sixers shot 22.6% and 25.0%, respectively, from three-point range in the final 2 games of the Heat series So it’s possible they could have more lousy shooting nights from behind the arc in this series. Especially since the Celtics have the best 3P defense in the entire NBA.

Now's not the time to rag on Fultz. Who the hell knew he was going to suffer from severe anxiety and forget how to shoot? Anxiety is a serious problem. It really messed up Brandon Brooks a couple years ago. He will work to get himself right and become a great player for us. Right now he's not ready. There are a lot of reasons the Sixers lost tonight's game-a game they were favored in, and none of them had to do with Markelle Fultz.

I always find it interesting how sure some fans are that the Sixers (or the Celtics) will win. Both teams are in rebuild mode and do not have much history to rely on,so much is unknown. Which player will rise or cave under the pressure of a playoff game, has often been the difference. It is almost like trying to predict how a college player will transition into the pros.

I have no idea on the outcome of this series, but am certainly enjoying the ride. I mentioned to someone the other day that since I have no expectations this year that it is somehow less stressful, and enjoyable to watch. When watching the Celtics in the mid to late 80s, if they lost when I expected them to win, it was painful.

My expectations ARe that we Lose one in Boston. Embiid and Ismmons will get frustrated at some of the defensive looks that Stevens throws at them. Similar to the heat’s strategy, but with better players.

I expect this to be a 6 game series only because Stevens coaching ability.

THey will be clutching and grabbing and hand checking and everything else they can get away with. From what I've seen so far this playoffs the refs refuse to call fouls on guys mugging the ball handlers. If that remains true, this will go a couple extra games unfortunately. If they call it tight, it should be 4 or 5 games.

Baynes and Horford wont be able to challenge Biid vertically. Biid used to have a tough time on Theis.

If Jaylen Brown is injured, this should be a clean sweep by double digits every game.

This is Stevens one shot to beat the sixers. By next year Simmons and Joel will be more developed, James will be here, etc. So if he can't beat us this year, they should really replace him, since he'll have missed his best shot lol

Smart is trash against everybody except us

76ers in 6. I'm concerned about rust in game 1. Turnovers against more persistent defense (Smart) and the possibility of a couple hot shooting games from the 3 point line from Tatum and Horford.

Going to have to win by 10-15 points. If it comes down to a close game the Celtics will get all the calls.   This is their home court advantage.

The Sixers will definitely get a few BS calls against them from Marcus Smart flopping.

The Sixers shot 22.6% and 25.0%, respectively, from three-point range in the final 2 games of the Heat series So it’s possible they could have more lousy shooting nights from behind the arc in this series. Especially since the Celtics have the best 3P defense in the entire NBA.

It really messed up Brandon Brooks a couple years ago. He will work to get himself right and become a great player for us. Right now he's not ready. I love what Rozier has done but put the Kool-aide down. He still has a ways to go especially on the road. BTW is there any reason why Tro cant play the 2 alongside Kyrie next year? But all in all, win or lose this series we are still in great shape. Phuck Filly!

I feel philly has a pretty good team but listening to their fans on here they think this team is the shit! Not hardly and no where close to being great. With what we have now and what we have coming back, unless they get Lebron or someone of that ilk, they'll still be chasing us.
