Great point about Williams needing an attendant. He will not be the first guy to need such help.

Kids look at NBA players and aspire to one day become like them the day they pick up a basketball.

Williams is going to have to learn that simply being talented and showing up (he couldn't even do that) isn't enough. Even working hard and playing hard doesn't guarantee anything. And he's over here taking the opportunity for granted as if someone else couldn't take advantage of it.

So far, this does not reflect well on him. This was a deep draft and he fell for a reason and I guess we're seeing why.

Definitely not a good look, but I am going to try and stay positive - you can teach a kid to use an alarm clock, but you can't teach him be able to jump out of the gym. He seems to want to be a good teammate, but still does stupid stuff. Celtics environment will be great for him - if he can't become responsible here, then he never will.

I've tried to comment on this twice but keep losing the message, but basically yeah, i'd make out real good on the + expenses part.

I generally live really cheap, but if someone else can cover my beer tab, i'm quite pleased.

as for road trips, ive actually had a few this year, just got back from a pacific northwest road trip where i'd drove around Washington and Oregon for 11 days, and right before that i'd spent some time between Ohio and Ga quite a bit with a week spent in the smokies (including about 40 miles hiking the AT)

If nothing else Williams has seemingly not made any excuses relating to his actions and has not tried to blame anyone else.

Perhaps there is hope for him?
