Houston has traded Ryan Anderson and De'Anthony Melton to Phoenix for Marquese Chriss and Brandon Knight, league source tells ESPN.

I think both teams helped themselves.

Houston gets some relief although they will still be a tax payer for at least the next two years. Talentwise Chriss is young but has done little in his first two years to distinguish himself. Knight is a good BU PG. Houston is losing a solid 3 point shooter in Anderson.

Phoenix can absorb Anderson's salary and he will be a nice veteran addition to a young team that needs a stretch 4.
