Why I hope the Celtics' budding stars emulate Steph
Malaria is a huge problem in Africa, killing tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands a year. Mosquito netting over beds is one of the best ways to prevent infection, and there is a foundation which donates such nets to African families. Steph donates one mosquito net for every three point shot he makes, and the Warriors match that donation. So far together they have donated over 7200 nets. That equates to thousands of lives saved. He is a good and honorable man, and this is a little known fact about his charitable works. That said, I still want us to kick his ass in the Finals.
