Missouri sophomore men’s basketball player Jontay Porter injured the ACL and MCL in his knee during a secret scrimmage Sunday against Southern Illinois, sources told The Star. He is out for the season. – via Kansas City Star

With the 2018-19 season about to start, Porter was projected as a top-10 NBA Draft pick. The 2019 draft is considered a weaker one than last year’s, which could keep Porter in the first round, and a knee injury, even one involving the ACL, is less of a red flag than back surgery. – via Kansas City Star

Michael Porters younger and bigger brother. he was thinking about coming out last year but stayed in school, looks like a bad choice for the young man now.
He has the skill set to be a big man in the NBA today and was considered a top 10 pick before the injury.
