Big changes since -------

----- the 2003-04 season - a season that saw nba offenses reach a modern era low. Things have changed drastically since 2003-04.
* 3pa per game in 2003-04 14.9 to 29.0 in 2017-18 and 31.3. Big difference
* 3p% per game 34.7 in 2003-04 to 36.2 in 2017-18 and 35.2 in 2018-19. Up but not that much.
* 2p% per game 45.9 in 2003-04 to 51.0 in 2017-18 and 51.7 in 2018-19. A big change that suggest that the 3 point shot may have lessened the concentration of the defense on the interior aspect of the game.
* Points per game 93.4 in 2003-04 to 106.3 in 2017-18 and 110.9 in 2018-19'
* Much to early to draw final conclusions from the 2018-19 stats but I am impressed bythe return of the 2 point shot as a significant factor in the overall scoring.
