Over the last 15 years, NBA franchises have averaged six different coaches.
For the Spurs and Celtics...not so much.

For all of us who have played any sport coaching continuity is very valuable if the coach is at least OK.

Obviously, having a good to excellent coach who is around for a good deal of time is even more beneficial.

I have always been so thankful for my high school coaches (who were in place before and long after I passed through the locker room) for many things beyond Xs, Os and the skills to play their sport.
