The Clippers make a visit to Boston for a game against the Celtics.

They have  pretty much dismantled their entire team.  Avery Bradley was traded (again) and Tobias Harris is now in Philly.  They are on the edge of making the playoffs or retaining the 1st rounder they owe us (for at least another year)  They have no incentive to win games although I am sure the green could bring out something in them.

There are a lot of teams lining up to place their bets on landing quality free agents.  This is a great year to be a FA because teams with money will overpay for 2nd and 3rd tier guys.  Don't blink if Terry Rozier inks a contract in the $16-18 million range per year.

The Celtics have a game to play tonight and after the one point loss to LAL, there is no good reason to play poorly.    Eyes wide open, avoid the trap.
The pussycat schedule is going to end after tonight's game.  Hold on to your hats, lock down  the shutters and turn away from the wind.  There is a storm up ahead.

After tonight's game,  Boston hits the road to play the Sixers followed by a home game with Detroit.  Then they are on the road at the Bucks, Bulls and Raptors.    When they return home to do their laundry they play Portland , Washington and Houston.  After that they hit the road again heading out West to play Golden State, Sacramento, LAL and LAC.

A lot of road games in this group and a lot of playoff caliber teams.

No one said it was going to be easy.  These games will tell me how good the Celtics are.

Perfect. These next 10 games could not have come at a better time. We are VERY close. The Lakers game was a mano y mano between Lebron and Kyrie passing the torch to Kyrie for being able to lead a team to a championship. We came up short in a very painstaking way, as is any loss to the Lakers, but we are very close. It was meant to be memorable. Kyrie knows it and will take it to heart. But LeBron knows the Celtics are not very far away at all from being the most dominant team in the league for quite some time.

This is all leading to the playoffs. Put the Laker loss behind us and be thankful it happened when it did. A lot of things will be coming together for us over this next month of games starting tonight.
