If you can't say something good about someone, say nothing at all.
Nothing at all.
Nothing at all.

Have no fear gentlemen........Rosalie is here.
I have seen the worst of the worst these last two games. But, I have not lost faith. I am the first, believe me, to admit the disappointment I felt at the end of last night's game. I, as most of you, came into this season believing all the excitement surrounding this team, and I have been let down.
Everything that has been said today has merit to some degree. But this is not the end of the season. I am putting my faith in Brad and Danny, somehow, someway, they will turn this around. Call me a fool, if you want, but I have never given up on a Celtic team, and have been rewarded in the end.
I watched a team come in in fourth place and win the title, beating both Philadelphia and Los Angeles (granted, Bill Russell was in charge and no way was he going to let them win!!!)
I can only hope that these young, intelligent basketball players will use this embarrassment to propel them to play harder and better and TOGETHER for the remaining part of the year. Don't give up or in to all the naysayers, see you all on Game On Tuesday night with your pompoms

1969...the balloon championship about which our Sam wrote so eloquently...
Re: POST GAME - LAC - HOME - LAC 123, BOS 112 Final
you got it Worcester. What a year!!!! When they were down 3-1 to Philly and came back and tied it at 3-3. I worked for a company that had many suppliers. The candy buyer had a friend in Philly who got me 3 tickets to the game in Philadelphia. We drove out there, met a guy on a street corner to pick up the tickets, and went to the game! They won and were off to play LA for the title.
When they were on their way out to LA for the game, another guy came up with tickets for me. At that time I was planning my wedding. I had the ultimatum, either the Celtics or my wedding!!! My Mom laid the law down. Unfortunately I never got to that game and have had nightmares about it since!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a great year, and after I met Sam on line at BDC we had many conversations about that game that HE ended up going to. Oh to be young again!!!

RosalieTCeltics wrote:i agree Cow. That 2007-2008 team was a team of some of hottest heads around!!! They argued with Rondo all the time, and look at the relationship Doc had with him, they argued all the time. In house. No one could stand up to KG though, and that is the issue. I believe Kyrie feels he is not a babysitter, and it is getting to him. That is why I feel more than one of these guys will be gone next year, not counting Morris, because he is definitely walkingl.
If you’re right about all of this in-house bickering how do we know it happened?
We know because whether a player goes on TV or not those things get out to the public.
I agree with what Morris said. There are major issues with this team. And Kyrie should not feel like he is not a babysitter. Kyrie with all of his cache’ should instead start acting like a leader.
I have nothing to go on but my instincts and my instincts tell me that there’s a good chance that the younger players on the team don’t care that much for Kyrie. If so thats a bigger problem.
I hope like hell that I’m wrong about the that.

Rosalie, like I always heard, if there's something good to say about something, might as well say it three times!

cowens/oldschool wrote:With all due respect, you think Rondo didn’t go at it with the Big 3 sometimes? Players are going to clash, what shouldn’t be done is complain to the media IMHO. This was a stronger statement than any I can remember during the Pierce-KG years, should have been kept in house.
Unfortunately, cameras and/or microphones notwithstanding, this kind of stuff gets out to the public anyway. Nothings a secret anymore

Lost in this horrendous debacle blowing a 28 point lead and losing by double digits is that this Clipper win could help us tremendously in this year's draft. As many know but some might have forgotten, we get LA's pick only if they make the playoffs (same situation in 2020) and right now they own the last playoff spot in the West, a half game ahead of Sacramento. Also, if this win keeps them ahead of the Kings by season's end it also helped with the Sacto pick. I know the loss hurt but it could also help in a few months. Small solace now, but as Sam used to say, "See me in April!"

Steve, then this MUST have been Danny's instruction to Brad.

Steve...thanks so much for letting us in on the plan, how foolish of us to second guess Danny and Brad. Now that you have given this insight, I am definitely not worried.

Re: POST GAME - LAC - HOME - LAC 123, BOS 112 Final
Ladies and Gentlemen, we should look to the past to see how we can have a better future. Back in the bad old days when before and after Danny hired Doc we had a lot of young good/great players but we failed to advance as a team, why?
Then along came KG and Ray Allan and together with Pierce the team gelled and history was made with a mix of very young great talent.
I think what made it click back then and what is needed now is an internal enforcer, someone who will not put up with the bull shxt from young players coming into the league. You walk through fire as a team or you don't walk period! Kevin Garnett was that enforcer back then.
Sometimes a team needs a good bi!ch slap by a its leader, currently the Celtics do not have that player. The roster is lacking players with maturity and dedication to winning, leave the me me me generation attitude at the door and step through that door as men on a mission to destroying the opposition night in and night out.............YA GOTTA HAVE A KILLERS MENTALITY. How many times this year did we give up big leads and wind-up just winning by a handful of buckets.................WHAT DO I MEAN.............HOW MANY GENO GAMES HAVE WE RUNG UP THIS YEAR, AND SENT A MESSAGE TO EACH OF THOSE TEAMS....DON'T F@!K WITH US!

Marcus Smart is the closest we have to an enforcer, but methinks he's still been too building up his offensive self-esteem to start rebuking the offenders.

Thanks Rosalie! I'm sorry I'm one of those who waivers way too often! I have to justify to my wife that League Pass is worth it for the next 4-5 years @ $200/yr!! You and Sam are true Celtics fans to the core!
