Boston Celtics are the 1st team in NBA history, in the playoffs, to score at least 112 points with 5 or fewer points coming from the FT line
So 112 points with no gifts

Oh geez Paul. ABC must be making him say that crazy shit. There is no way he is that much of a reactionary. Every week its something. Love Paul but this job is not in his wheelhouse.

I wonder who the only unbeaten team is in the playoffs. I guess I'll do some research...

Re: ROUND #2 PLAYOFF > POST GAME #1 Mil Bucks - AWAy - - Boston - 112 Mil - 90 Final
After finally watching the game all the way through, I can put a number on Game 2. It's not a 100% must win for us, but close to about 85% must win.
If we don't win G2, I really don't like our chances to win the series by my earlier post. Larry Bird always thought Game 5 tied up 2-2 was the most important part of a 7-game series. While we delivered a great gut punch in G1 on the road, whatever BOS does, MIL can do better. MIL will win a G5 at home tied up 2-2. We're not winning both Games 3 and 4 in BOS...yet.
If we win G2, then the odds of us winning the series go WAY up. MIL will be in an ABSOLUTE panic and will make repeated mistake after mistake, second guess the whole remainder of the series and implode.
If MIL wins G2, then we fall into the myriad of 1-1 games that have gone before us and get lost in the shuffle and more than likely usher our way right out of the playoffs. Then MIL and BOS are both 5-1 to date. Big deal. No differentiation. No distinction.
The only way I see to separate us from the other 7 teams left is to win G2. We will be the only undefeated team left in the playoffs to date.
What I would like to see is MIL having spent the last 48 hours on a flawless game plan only to have the unpinned hand grenade blow up in their proverbial faces. Again, they don't know who is coming to dinner. How can you make a plan for that?
What I would like to see is the awesome power of a fully operational battle station...everybody scoring at will and literally defensively shutting Old Swilwaukee down. Tatum and Morris didn't show up in the score column in G1. Not saying they didn't play great, contributing games, but in the end the only thing that matters is the scoreboard and who has more. Can you imagine a scoring barrage of Gordon with 30, Kyrie with his ho hum 28, Al with 20, Morris with 22, JB with 25..oh and Tatum with a quiet 23? That's 148 points. We haven't seen that yet but I have to imagine with Sunday's performance and statement, it's coming.
I believe this G2 will come down to the two coaches. And Brad has this guy who can't find his ass with both hands wrapped around his finger and is running circles around him. It will become blatantly clear in this next game.
I beg to differ with the MIL clique response that the rest of the team (sans Giannis) will not shoot that badly in the next game. Yes, they will if the Celtics keep up that same defensive intensity. It may get even worse as MIL begins to see the writing on the wall.
Game 1 Surprise - Wow! Boston beat the crap out of MIL on their home court.
Game 2 Surprise - We weren't effing kidding!! We're not a one-trick, one-game pony.
