https://www.basketball-reference.com/contracts/players.html
Salary's from last year.
Obviously Bosh wasn't worth being #16
Melo got $25M plus at #20
Chandler Parsons has to be the worst signing in the last 10 years...made $24 last year and will get $25M this coming year yet...wow!
but anyhow....11 players were over $30M last year
S. Curry
C. Paul
R. Westbrook
LeBron
B. Griffin
G. Hayward
K. Lowry
P. George
M. Conley
J. Harden
and
K. Durant
Durant is the only one can opt out and he will still be a $30M man
one can make an argument that all of them deserve max deals ( some may disagree on some).
so who is likely or should join this elite group next week?
J. Wall has already signed a crazy deal that starts at $37M this coming year. The wizards are sorry they did that now.
KAT already signed his max extension and it starts at $27M next season
as did D. Booker at Phoe.
Denver has a team option on Millsap at $30m...They'd be smart to extend and lower his salary or opt out and let be a FA.
Irving will get a deal at max so he will join the club as will K. Leonard
Klay Thompson was expected to get a max deal and likely still will.
Will J. Butler and K. Walker get full max deals?
how about Porzingis or Vucevic?
could we have as many as 20 players earning $30M or more next season?
did I miss anyone?
