Re: GH says his leg feels amazing!
In my opinion his biggest problem, in the 2nd half of last year, was his confidence. I don't know if it was lack of confidence in his body, or if he felt his skills had atrophied and still weren't back but his inconsistency wasn't due to physical limitations. If he feels good he is still in his prime and can play at the same level he played at in Utah where he was an All-Star (assuming Brad uses him well. Remember Brad, just like Doc before him, tried to force-feed Avery Bradley into a point guard. Just because Brad sees GH playing a specific role well doesn't mean he can/will).
Still, BIG news! If he's fully back then we have another floor general, even if he's not the full-blown "point forward" Brad wants him to be. He's still a good passer for a 6'8" player. If he's fully back then we have another good shooter, good enough that if we have injuries or our other shooters are cold, he can shoot at a high volume and high efficiency and carry us through. In his last year at Utah he shot 47.1% from the floor and 39.8% from 3. He also took 5.9 ftas/game.
This is a HUGE year for Hayward. HUGE. This will be his 3rd year of his 4 year contract meaning that next year he's an expiring contract which has trade value, or it could mean that he's worth every dollar. Also, and more importantly, this will be his 2nd year after his injury. Everybody was anxious last year to see him perform at a high level but it takes a year of play to get past an injury like that (Paul George needed 2 years, one for surgery and rehab and another to get his game back) and Hayward has now had his.

Re: GH says his leg feels amazing!
GH is not a guy that exaggerates.
I have never heard him refer to his leg as feeling amazing.
I thought the issue was his physical health during the 2nd half. He was not 100%.
If Gordon's leg is feeling amazing look out.

Re: GH says his leg feels amazing!
If Hayward is 100% healthy, his timetable to be healthy is just about what Paul George predicted at the beginning of last season.
For his less than stellar play in 2018-19 perhaps we the fans and the Cs organization were expecting too much from him last season?
I certainly hope that he returns to his Utah performance level as Hayward at that level will be a big plus for the Cs this season.

Hi,
I agree with Bobh, the last obstacle GH has to leave behind is mental.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that he get's it this year.

No one can ever accuse this guy of being a phony. Truth at all times. I just am anxious for him to return to the floor in the first game and prove to all he is worth the wait. What a nightmare he has lived thru. I am with him all the way

Last year GH passed up so many scoring opportunities. No one can accused him of being selfish.
How Brad Stevens uses him will determine his success and the success of the team.
Looking forward to the season.
