Serbia is a tall team, with 4 players 7 feet or more.Nikola Jokic end the game with 6 points and 8 boards in 31 minutes.

Four 7-footers? Not much small ball there!

Yes , no small ball there. They are using the 7''3 Marjanovic at center and the 7'0 Jokic at the power forward position.

Thanks for posting the link. I watched the entire game because I wanted to see how one of our new Celtics played.
Serbia is really big but they are also slow. They are a top teams as you know.
VP came off the bench in the 1st QTR. He runs the floor well and and screens up top and on either side. He is constantly looking to set screens. He scored 3 baskets all in the 1st half. One was off of a hard run where he parked himself under the basket got the pass and dunked. Another was off of an out of bounds play where he faked to the foul line and reversed his direction for a back door cut to the rim from the left side and he dunked. On another play Serbia was in a spread offense with VP standing left base line extended. He cut down the baseline received the pass and scored. He also went 1-2 from the line to score his 7th point. He fights for position and rebounds.
On defense he committed a lot of fouls and he fouled out of the game. 3 of the 5 fouls were completely unnecessary. One thing I did notice is that he uses his hands a lot when he sets screens. He will need to learn how to stop extending his hands or he will get called for a lot of offensive fouls in the NBA. All of the fouls called against him were on the defensive side of the ball.
He took a jumper from the right elbow off of a pick and pop play. He missed the shot but his mechanics looked good. He also drove to the basket from the foul line and threw up a runner and I think it was blocked.
Overall he looks limited as a ball handler. His defense was okay but nothing special. His rebounding was good. His passing was good.
I can see him getting some baskets when he beats his opponent up the court. I think if he is going to carve out some minutes for himself it will be on the defensive side of the ball and on the glass.. That is something the Celtics will need from him.
Once he gets over here and starts working out with his new teammates and learning from his coaches, the Celtics will get a better idea of where he fits.
He will be getting a late start so his opportunities early on may be limited.

International, I really liked the way he stays in motion. He's always moving and has a knack for finding creases on offense and defense. He is a screening machine setting multiple ones during the same possession. He is a very physical player. The Celtics need that.
I don't think you get a complete picture of him playing on what is an allstar team for France. A lot of players are not able to find opportunities while playing with other stars but he obviously can play.
