Smart was on Gobert on a switch and Gobert overpowered him for a dunk, before that Jaylen was on him 9-0 run by France.

Just saw that USA lost by ten, too bad. Seems like no one really gave them a chance, it would have been great to see them go to the finals

both Brown and Smart can "Play UP" on defense.
one reason I want both starting most games this year, with Walker, Tatum and Kanter.
Hayward will be great leading /running the second team.

Tough loss as the lack of size hurt team USA. France played excellent ball and Rudy was dominant at both ends.
Great experience for our guys and hopefully that will transfer to the Celtics this season.

Middleton and Kemba way off, Mitchell didn’t get enough help, team really missed Tatum. Jaylen too unselfish today....

Our guys can hold their heads up high, they worked their tails off. With no real superstar bigs, it was a tough task. Turner is good, but still has a long way to go. Well, they will be on their way home and get a little rest before training camp

Cowens , Vincent Poirier got injured in the game against Australia (That was the reason he only played 8 minutes) And today was inactive.

I hope Vincent Poirier's injury is nothing that carries into the NBA season. That would suck, for him and for the Celtics.

Anyone know what the injury is?
There are a lot of new players on the team. I'm excited to see them play.
VP may get off to a slow start but he is a seasoned player and should be able to pick up the schemes quickly. The shortened preseason really does not afford a lot of time for Brad to nail down his rotations. Therefore as Kleen always reminds us, patience will be needed.
