Re: 177 Guests
I think I show up as a guest sometimes. The ghosts in the machine don't want to let me stay logged in.

I would note for those running the board, that thus site always comes up as NOT SECURE on crome.
it also is listed as a site that has been hacked by a password manager I have on my laptop.
that may be one reason some people won't log in or sign up.
not sure what can be done abut those issues, as that is way above my pay grade ( or skill level).

kdp (and anyone out there wondering),
That is actually just a Chrome advisory that should appear on any non HTTPS link. There are two transfer protocol types; HTTP and HTTPS. Sam's is on a platform that uses HTTP. Its not that HTTP isn't safe, it is the standard communications linking method for all web addresses. There is extra security with HTTPS. You wouldn't want to do banking or make payments on HTTP sites if you could use HTTPS. Without getting all techie, they are essentially one and the same, but HTTPS uses an extra layer of security by using an extra port to complete the transfer of information.
The site is safe to use.
As for being hacked, that has never happened. Furthermore, we maintain no individual or personal information that can be used to identify anyone other than an email address. There is nothing here to hack. Unless, that is, you want to go back to the thread we once had that posted favorite pie recipes.
Thanks, however, for addressing that. It may ease concerns if anyone has them.
Regards
