MY NOTE: I don't know who these 4 Net players are, yet, but the NBA won't restart their season until these players are completely medically cleared as non-contagious and all their teammates and everyone else in the Nets organization.

Nor anyone else who shows up positive after today. This would set the earliest return to work date more than likely.

Were the Nets on the Utah short list?

3 of the 4 were asymptomatic.

That is the real problem with testing criteria and why it is difficult to project the rate of spread.

Projecting if or when the season could start up is impossible. I think it is over. Different parts of the country are in different stages of the spread. Somewhat staggered. While the infection rate in one city may show a decline another city may be getting ready to take off.

This really looks like a 4-6 month window.

I agree Dboss, I cannot understand how they will salvage anything. It is more important to make sure everyone is safe and healthy. How can they expect 20,000 people plus to sit together and watch games being played, just is not going to happen.

My son has two sets of tickets for games we were going to. One was last week, The Red Claws, the other for the Miami game in April. Since Sunday has come and gone, he will have to contact them for his $$$ back but until they make a determination on the rest of the season, the Miami tickets are still in play. The team had said they would give tickets to another game, the replacement game, a credit, or in the end, a refund. Time will tell how long this takes

League will probably hold onto the games without fans idea for as long as it can before pulling the plug, but have to agree with you two. Scrap-o-rama.

Scary stuff. Lockdown is imminent here. Now any surgery I was going to have may be pushed back until they change the policy of no walk in day surgery. Here I sit, like a walking time bomb.
Doing nothing but staying home waiting.

I do wonder if down the road one of the players from the Celtics will end up with the virus, they were all around it.
