And here's a peek at the players that Sam and the other guards would be matching up against from the last 15 years.

Can you imagine the career Havlicek would have had with the three point shot? His stats would have been terrific. One heck of a ball player.

A lot easier to shoot when the PG is palming the ball all the way up the court and every tic tac touch is a foul on the defensive player.

Terrible shooters in those early years and how they dribbled would not change that fact. As to free throws - 70 to 75 free throws per game was the average back in the 50's and 60's compared to the 44 to 46 now. They could have played in caps and gowns in those early years.

75 FT per game in the 1960s? That is 100% inaccurate.
From 1960 to 1980 the NBA averaged 25 Personal Fouls and 31 FTA and 98 shots per game - with ZERO 3PT FGA
From 2000 to 2020 the NBA averaged 21 Personal Fouls and 24 FTA per game and 82 shots per game - with nearly 40% of the shots coming from 3PT FGA
So the truth is wildly different from your exaggerated numbers. The % of shots / Personal Fouls has remained constant throughout NBA history.
Add to the fact that nearly 40% of all FTA are 3 pointers (which have a much lower foul rate) and the actual % of shots where a foul is even possible vs fouls called, is higher now than at any time in NBA history.
