New forum for Zoom Meetings!!

We created a new forum:

For Members Only: Zoom Board Meetings and More!

This is where we will post notices for board Zoom Meetings.  We plan to have an All Member Zoom Meeting soon.  We will probably have one during draft night (whenever that happens) and during other specific events.  We may even try out Zoom during games.

There is nothing there yet but stay tuned, we hope to make an announcement soon!!

Please post your thoughts as to when we could/should have a Zoom meeting.  Some initial thoughts are:

1. Occasional All Member Zoom meeting (general meet and greet, open discussion)
2. Draft night Zoom meeting
3. Occasional Game On! Zoom meeting (we can use a poll and pick a Game of the Week?)

What are your thoughts?

We are testing out the new forum and are having inconsistent results.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I did just have a thought or two, in particular for the official first Zoom meeting.

I know some of us go all the way back to BDC days. And some relationships may even go back beyond those times. There is considerable valuable history in this group that needs documentation and compilation.

I know probably all of us are identified by our avatars and like Sam, may even go by a different name! I never thought for a moment Dick's name was anything other than Sam.

A few know some more than others or may have met at one of the board meetings of the past in Boston.

I'd like to suggest perhaps for those that will be participating a short intro, a brief history on how you got to the Zoom Meeting via your connections and the Celtics, your history with the Celtics, family, etc. Or go as long as you like. We've got nothing but time these days! Deliver this on the Zoom meeting, of course, and perhaps even write these words out on a Word doc and have it sent to the our leaders to compile with a picture of yourself or whatever is important to you.

Include you favorite Celtic moment(s) or whatever. I think it would mean a lot to all of us. We're all pretty good writers, some better than others.

Anyway, just a suggestion for the 1st official remote gathering!

It  is interesting that you mentioned this.  I spoke with NYCelt earlier today and we discussed this.

We will be setting up a meeting shortly for all members.

Thank you for considering it! Whatever you guys come up with will be just fine. I will be traveling this Wednesday and Thursday to pick up my boys and bring them to NC for their summer trip. I should still be able to participate no problem. I'll have my laptop with me as well as my phone.

How about tomorrow?  Now that Rosalie is back I am ready to go but tomorrow may be too soon.  How about Sunday or next week Saturday.
