GSW-NYK Trade Empty GSW-NYK Trade

David Lee goes to GSW and the Knicks get Ronny Turiaf, Kelenna Azuibuike and Anthony Randolph.

This is step 2 in Mike D'Antoni's epiphany that he is the love child of Doug Moe and Stan Albeck. Step 1 was getting Amare.

Turiaf is a warrior (small "w" now). In fact, both the other players are very athletic. We're going to see a lot of run-and-gun from the Knicks this year and not much defense.

I have NO idea why GSW agreed to this deal.

Between the amalgamation of talent in Miami, coupled with the loss of Amare in Phoenix and the loss of Boozer in Utah and the gutting of GSW (not that they were such big deals, but like OKC they had stockpiled talent) I think the pendulum has definitely swung back from the Western Conference to the east.

Bob-

I agree. I thought this trade was horrendous for GS. Idiotic.

I love Randolph's passion and energy, as well as his game.

He should thrive in NY. They will love him there.

This was a great trade for NY.
Besides Dwight Howard, in my opinion Randolph is the 2nd most athletic big man in the NBA.
He will put up 17 pts, 11 rebs and 2.5 blocks with ease when he gets more playing time.
