Pre-Game Lakers
Sorry, guys and gal. I had to start this one early as tomorrow I will be taking another certification exam. But it's probably appropriate since this is the Lakers.
I've been in the process of preparing a large plate of crow for myself. Not quite finished cooking but it's close. A victory over the Lakers tomorrow night will complete the cooking and nothing will be left for me to do but eat it.
But first before I get into anything, I just wanted to prepare you for the "Where's Anthony Davis and Lebron James Deluge" you are about to receive from the announcers come tomorrow night's game. Of course you can catch this on any game across the league no matter who is playing. If I hear one more time about those two missing from the game, it will literally be the 45,735th time I have heard it over the past month. Whenever the Celtics misfortunes have been mentioned almost as an afterthought, it is never anywhere close to the nth degree that the Davis/James Missing form the line up vomitorium I have witnessed. You will hear comments and references made in the pre-game, EVER quarter and at least 5-10 times per quarter. I've never seen anything like this in my history with this league.
Yes, players get injured. Yes, teams have bad stretches. Yes, the Lebron train hasn't pulled into the retirement station but it has left its last destination. But for God's sake, SHUT UP about Davis and Lebron being injured!! OMG!!! I've never heard anything like it!! WE KNOW!!! WE ALL KNOW!!! THEY ARE INJURED AND NOT PLAYING!! Quit mentioning it and droning on for the whole game in every game covered across the league!!! I know everyone in the media world has mortgaged their homes and 401(k)'s on the Lakers winning the championship but talking about it out loud to the whole world isn't going to change anything!! Just thought you guys and gal should know what's coming.
OK, now that I got that off my chest, it appears the Celtics have ignored everything around them including this fine site which if they had read it could have saved them some time and loses, but I digress.
Here's the amazing thing. While a win in Los Angeles will get the attention of the league that we're back up and running (which credit to Candice Parker who started defending Boston about their lack of attention to their season and all the sudden everyone is piling as to what's going on in Boston now), some on this site predicted the course of the Boston season with great accuracy. Those are the people I want to hear from!! How did you guys and gal know this would happen?!!
Yes, we all were punching them pretty hard all the way down the organization almost the entire season, myself included. But if we step back and take the bird's eye view, everything is looking like it is right on track.
I'm going to make a bold prediction here. I'm going to wife's paycheck the following. MIL will not finish in 3rd in the East. 4th or 5th will be their regular season ending place. The Great and Powerful Oz has spoken!! But I digress.
Now these Celtics/Lakers games are not like the 80's or the 60's or the 3-year half-ass attempt of the late 2000's. It's just another game on the schedule. But tomorrow night's game for us is once again a must win. If it needs to be said, we really can't afford to lose any games from here on out. But you eat an elephant one bite at a time.
I can't complain much at this point. We're looking very good and may be turning the corner!
Go Celtics!!

Hi,
Yes, Lebron and Davis are out for the game. Someone gets gets lucky, someone doesn't. I hope Celtics will tune all this noise out and get one more W.

Kuzma has had the plenty of opportunity to strut his stuff and he’s shown he’s not a starter in this league. I actually thought by now he’d be better

Re: Pre-Game Lakers
With all the jumbling up from last night, we have catapulted into 5th place, one full game behind ATL. Tonight's games vs. the Lakers and the Buck vs. Atlanta all have bigger meaning.
No time for us to lose. Literally. A victory by either Bucks or ATL will benefit us. Bucks lose, they get a game closer to us. ATL loses, we win, we're tied for 4th. Tonight's games just got a whole lot more interesting for sure.

RW is out tonight so there is that. TT will get the start and after that it is anyone's guess. Boston will need to shoot the 3 ball well to win this game. And shut down their perimeter games.
Drummond will dominate the glass and there is not much we can do about that
Mil over Hawks at halftime 62-52.
