Pre-Game Spurs
Here is what would be yet another easily winnable at any other time, but it suggests you dig in your pocket, pick heads or tails and flip it as to whether the Celtics will win or not.
But it is against Popavich so the coin you flip will be slightly loaded to the Spurs side, maybe 55/45. It doesn't matter who Pop puts on the floor, you are going to get a game. (Wish we could do and say the same about us.) So with Brad "Sir Mix-A-Lotta-Starting Lineups" in the house, along with special guest appearance by Forrest Gump, there's no telling which team will show up tonight.
This thought has finally popped into my head. It's the "kitchen sink" option where we are just about down to hoping for the last plea going into the playoffs and miraculously running the table. Just like hoping the Governor will give us a stay of execution. Those typically don't work out.
There is a side game going on tonight of interest is we can hold up our end of the bargain. (Again, reach in your pocket and flip) Hawks vs. 76ers. Since PHI is caught in the tight race for 1st place, they can't start benching their guys and saving them for the playoffs just yet. So PHI on paper should beat the ever loving crapola out of the Hawks. Again, a big ask, provided we hold up our end, that would put ATL in a loss column tie with us and the idle Heat. Knicks get a nice break until Sunday and Monday where they play Houston and Memphis, so they won't be backing up any unless MEM gets desperate for the play-in game.
Who's out tonight? Anyone? Does anyone know how many different line ups Brad has had to start due to everything this season? Just curious.
Nine games left, folks. Our spot in the playoffs is literally in our hands. I've been bitten more times this season than a guy in a full raw meat suit at police dog training school so I'm not as optimistic on us pulling through this.
Go Celtics!!

Just 2 games behind the Knicks for the number 4 spot.
The incentive is there. Focus and health need to meet the moment.

Atlanta @ Philly tonight. Philly needs to take both of these. If we win we're tied in the loss column with Atlanta, with them owning the tiebreaker. That's the same as saying we're 1 game back.
Miami and NYK have the night off. We're tied with Miami, with 2 coming up in Boston against them. The last game of the season is vs the Knicks in MSG. They are 2 games up in the loss column on us right now, but have a much tougher schedule remaining.
Ending up #4 is quite doable. We just have to win out and let their tougher schedules do the rest of the job for us.
