Trivia RE: Assists

Recenty (like last evening) Rondo had a game with 17 assists and no turnovers.

Can anyone name the 4 players that are tied with the MOST assists in a game with NO turnovers.

Magic, Stockton, West and Cousy

(just guessing)

One out of 4 ain't bad. Stockton is one.

When West and Cousy played they may have done it if assists were scored as liberally as they are now.

I believe it's Scott Skiles. It's some ridiculous number, like 29 or 32. Without looking it up, I'll say 32.

Cousy could have done it anyway. Who knows? Maybe he went his entire career without a turnover. (lol) We'll never know because the stat wasn't kept when he played.

Okay, without looking it up, my guesses are Jason Kidd, Mark Jackson, and Chris Paul.

After looking it up, I see I got one right. Would NOT have guessed the other two.

How about Kidd, Deron Williams, and Calderon?

Here's an assist futility trivia question that will probably be known by a hard core NBA fan. Whos is the only player in NBA history to play in at least 100 career games and have fewer then 5 career assists? As a hint, he died in 2004 at 31 years old. One more hint: He played his entire career (4 years) for one team in the Celtics division.
