LOVE this. Love. Having a shot blocker patrolling the baseline is just one way of keeping the ball away from the rim. This is another, and when RWill comes back it will be very difficult for opposing teams to score in the paint indeed.

Totally agree bobc33, these are the types of guys that can make a subtle difference between winning a championship or not. Still remember those key buckets PJ Brown had in game 7 in 2008 vs Cleveland.

The Estimated tax bill is $51,330,094

Not a lot of options to save money this year but I expect them to pair the salary down for the 2023-24 season especially if they reach a new deal with Grant either now or during their QO option at the end of this season.

With the added depth it will impact starter minutes but also rotation minutes.

That PJ Brown signing was just the right thing for that team. A class guy who knew his role and was a great locker room guy. I always loved his game. I have never been a Griffin fan, possibly because every time his team needed him he was hurt. But, he was a threat whenever he was on the floor. This is a good signing, I just hope he stays healthy.
