Marcus Smart is averaging 7+ assists per game?! Looks like the Oklahoma State Marcus finally arrived, after 8 years. lmao Took him long enough

Do the names Isaiah Thomas, Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker ring a bell? Marcus was only handed the starting point guard keys last season and he’s progressively gotten much better as time has gone by. He recently had a stretch of double digit assist games. He also is one of the league leaders in assist/turnover rate. No longer blocked by all star shoot first point guards he’s arrived.

You forgot Dennis Schroder, getting him out of the rotation was the most important thing they did last year

Maybe Brad Stevens got in Smart’s way as well. Kemba was barely healthy during his Celtics tenure, yet the offense still belonged to Tatum and/or Brown when Kemba was out. Once Stevens leaves…Oklahoma State Marcus comes out?

Kemba played in 99 games his two seasons in Boston so it wasn’t like he never played. It was too bad his knees gave out but Marcus has become a much better PG facilitator than Kemba ever was.

DJ and White had a subtle rivalry in SA, so look for DJ to explode. He practically beat Boston and Schroeder last year, by hisself in the 4th quarter.

I'm not ready to look up and see Gallo warming up in green.
