Adam says “Have a Seat. And While you’re at it Feel Free to Have Several” ????

Silver said it’s cool to unload.
“Study” indicates that fans are cool with it too.

SALT LAKE CITY – NBA commissioner Adam Silver gave his annual All-Star weekend press conference Saturday, addressing topics related to player load management, the league’s ticket sales and reaching a new collective bargaining agreement this year. Here’s what you need to know:
* Silver said there is “medical data” to support the current practice of load management throughout the league and disagreed with the notion that too many players – especially stars – were sitting out of games without injury.
* He also said the league would set a record for tickets sold and cited improved television ratings as proof that fans were not turned off by players resting.
* Silver said it is the league’s priority to complete a new collective bargaining agreement by the March 30 deadline and said it was his “hope” that a deal was reached by then.
What else Silver said
Silver said of the league’s viewership that, “Fans are the ultimate adjudicators and right now they’re telling us they love the NBA.”

Nice....in other words, if you want to go to a game, get ready to empty your wallet, use your charge card (which you will be paying off for months on end) or find a company who buys tickets and gives the away to whoever, not necessarily a real fan of the game. I am sorry, If I dished out what they want to see Giannis, LeBron, Curry, or any other stars, and they ended up sitting on the bench for load management, I would definitely be angry. So. all these rumors about a lockout looks like a bunch of garbage?

I’d love to see the study on this where Adam claims it’s OK with the fans. How about showing us the medical data. Bet it’s skewed to fit the NBA’s agenda.
He’s either lying through his teeth or that study is a huge perceptual error.

These so called fans he speaks of either don’t buy tickets or don’t watch games.
What fan says it okay not to play or see the best players?

Notice how load management only is used for star players?
Does his “medical data” include rotation players as well? When was the last time we have seen one of them taking a seat for load management.
This is pure nonsense.

Ps. The weekend’s festivities had circus written all over it and each year they add another ring. So disheartening…

when will they get rid of that stupid "skills" show. What an embarrassent to the NBA, It was awful, shut if off.
