J J Reddick on Bird v.Curry
Reddick made the ridiculous comment that Curry was subjected to more "physicality" than Bird. Tell it to Anthony Mason, Charles Oakley and Jeff Ruland. Dominique Wilkins did a nice job of refuting Reddick's nonsense, pointing out that hand checking and chest bars were permitted in those days, and that front court players were, as a matter of course, more involved in physicality. Fighting for rebounds was an actual fight in Bird's day. Reddick needs a Robert Parish chop to the back of the head to knock some sense into him.

Foot
I like jj.
However he was born in 1984.
He knows zero about Larry Bird other than what he may have heard or seen on some film clips.
Basically when Larry was balling JJ was still crapping in his pamper.

I've got nothing against JJ, but it's best not to express opinions from a place of ignorance.

Thats about the upteenth ignoramus’ type comment that Mr. Red Dick has made.
Said Russell and them played against plumbers and insurance salesmen.
He’s a clown. Him being born in 84 is no excuse.
He should know the history within his own profession.
I wasn't born during the Civil War and never enlisted in the Army but I know the history behind it.
I did like his podcast until he started saying things like that. Now I refuse to watch it or him on ESPN.

I have nothing against Reddick, he must be trying to stir up controversary. He has to have seen highlights on how rough the game was in the 80's. I will say Bird and Curry are the two best shooters I have ever seen. Ray Allen and Reggie Miller were great three point shooters, but Bird and Curry had/have the ability to make shots from any distance and any angle.

A great game that I have watched over and over is game 7 ECF vs Philly, bodies scattered all over the floor the whole game. I dare anyone to find a more physical game?
